On (not so) patiently waiting
In all honesty, patience never came naturally to me and it is definitely something I had to learn over the years. It fuels my “let’s get things done” attitude and keeps me productive and determined—but I’ll admit it can be frustrating at times. Lately, I’ve been very ready for the sound of birds chirping and the warmth of the spring sun. I much prefer warm weather, sunny woods walks (one of my favourite things to do), peaceful morning coffees, and lake swims. Sometimes I think I should have moved somewhere warmer—but I just love Kingston and the people here far too much.
As for the real estate market, it also feels a bit antsy for spring. With interest rates trending lower as well as sale prices mixed with pent-up demand, we’re anticipating more buyers entering the market in 2026 and an increase in overall home sales. Price moderation is expected to continue, helping maintain a balanced market for both buyers and sellers.
That said, now is a great time to have that initial conversation of “where do we begin?” If you have questions, want to know what’s happening in the Kingston market, or just want to chat about being excited to say goodbye to snowstorms, give me a shout.
