A few of my favourite local spots
Le Jardin, Kingston ON
Fools Kitchen, Napanee ON
StoneCorner Cafe, Camden East ON
One of the most unique dining experiences in the Kingston area, offering something truly memorable for a night out. The restaurant is centred around an impressive indoor wood-fired hearth, bringing a distinctive and elevated approach to every dish.
The interior design is equally striking, creating an atmosphere that feels immersive and transportive from the moment you walk in. It’s the kind of place that makes an evening feel like an experience, not just a meal.
For those who enjoy cocktails, the thoughtfully crafted menu offers plenty to explore, with a wide selection of creative and well-executed options.
For anyone living in or moving to Kingston, this is a must-visit destination and a perfect example of the vibrant and diverse dining scene the area has to offer.
This is an all time favourite dining spot for my partner and I. After we bought our house in Yarker a little over a year ago, we decided to try this spot out for a date night. Both of us being foodies, we were blown away. Beyond the food, the service is warm, personable, and genuinely welcoming, adding to the overall experience and sense of community.
The menu consists of a variety of asian fusion dishes and I often think about their soup dumplings. An absolute must try if you are moving near the area (or even if you aren’t, it’s worth the drive).
The most wonderful, homey café tucked into the heart of Camden East. It perfectly captures the cozy, small-town atmosphere that makes this area so special.
They serve some of the best pastries and sandwiches I’ve had, along with seriously good coffee. Beyond the menu, the café also showcases a variety of items from local vendors—I even managed to check off some Christmas shopping while waiting for lunch. Supporting local businesses like this always makes the experience feel even more meaningful.
From the moment I walked in, I was reminded of my grandpa’s old farmhouse—warm, familiar, and full of character. I knew right away it would become a new favourite spot.
For anyone living in or moving to the Camden East area, this is the perfect Sunday morning coffee stop—and a great example of the charm and community you can expect here.
